Celebrating the joyful holiday season on Stillwater, Minnesota's Historic Mainstreet!

Take a stroll through the streets of Stillwater and be taken to a picturesque "Christmas Village" right here in the Birthplace of Minnesota! Our own Hallmark movie - now all we need is the snow!

Mainstreet Stillwater and the St. Croix Riverfront will be alive with holiday spirit, featuring seasonal lights, decorations, and festive themed weekends! Experience the holidays of old while making new memories.

Downtown Stillwater's independently owned boutiques, shops and restaurants WELCOME YOU to Hometown for the Holidays - the first 3 weekends in December!
Find joy in shopping and dining during the holiday season with many FREE family friendly events happening each weekend, starting December 2 until December 17:

Friday, December 16 - Furry Friends Weekend!

This weekend highlights our favorite furry friends!

6:30-8:30 p.m - Enjoy holiday lights, sweet decorations, & the sounds of Victorian Carolers!

Saturday, December 17 - Pet Parade + Costume Contest

Bark your calendars! Second annual Pet Parade and Costume Contest for Hometown for the Holidays!
All animals lovers are invited to dress up with their pets for the Pet Parade. All shapes and sizes welcome!
11:30am – Participants of the parade, meet at the Gazebo (North Lowell Park)
12pm – Pet Parade/Costume Contest: Follow the Grinch down Main Street back to the Gazebo (North Lowell Park)-see map below
12-2pm – Petting Zoo/Farm located at the Gazebo (North Lowell Park)
*Enjoy hot cocoa & cookies and goodies afterwards along with Meet/Greet with The Grinch! Cookies sponsored by Cub Foods!
* Grand prize winner will receive a ONE NIGHT STAY AT THE LORA HOTEL!
* 4 other prizes will be given out to various winners!
