This 90 minute deeply relaxing experience that elegantly interweaves 3 healing modalities to bring restoration and balance to mind and body.
Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga is a gentle and nurturing style of yoga that focuses on relaxation and deep rest. Think of this practice as YOGA FOR THE NERVOUS SYSTEM.
Sarah will guide you into postures with the support of props such as bolsters, blankets, and yoga blocks to encourage a deep release of tension and stress from the body. The postures are held for longer periods of time, allowing the body to deeply relax and open up, promoting a sense of calm and inner peace.
Sound
Sound healing refers to the use of soothing sounds and vibrations/frequency to promote relaxation and healing in the mind and body. In this practice you will experience a variety of sounds including crystal sound bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, ocean,
drum, Koshi chimes, and bi-nural beats.
Brain waves are the rhythmic electrical impulses produced by the brain and can be influenced by various sounds and vibrations. Sound healing aims to promote the production of slower brain waves, such as alpha and theta waves, which are associated with relaxation, meditation, and modulation of the parasympathetic nervous system influencing deep states of healing.
Reiki
Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing technique that involves the laying on of hands to channel life force energy, often referred to as “universal energy,” to promote healing and balance in the recipient.
As an internationally trained Reiki Master Sarah serves as a conduit of Prana (life force energy) helping to address physical, emotional, and spiritual imbalances. The gentle, non-intrusive nature of reiki touch makes it a popular complementary therapy for individuals seeking relaxation, stress reduction, and overall well-being.
