At the November 13th WBB monthly meeting, we welcome Anna Nelson, who will speak to us about The Shadows behind our Strengths
As women, we often exhibit a certain persona to the outside world. But what happens when the outside doesn't match the way we feel on the inside?
Happy. Optimistic. Joyful about life. Those are words that others have used to describe Anna Nelson. As a naturally positive person, Anna is enthusiastic about every opportunity life has to offer. However, there was a time in her life where this was not the case.
Join us in hearing Anna’s story about the downward spiral that led her to be diagnosed with Depression and Anxiety, along with her journey through her shadows. Find out how she overcame and transformed into the positive person she is today.
Meet Anna Nelson
For those of you who do not know me, my name is Anna. I am a public speaker, lifestyle blogger, proud wife & mommy, coffee lover and communication geek!
I love trying to understand other people and what they are saying:
which is where my love for public speaking stemmed.
I have a wonderful husband, an energetic toddler, a loving dog and a lazy cat
that fill our house. My family is the joy in my life – we love doing all things outdoors together, staying very active all day long (for those of you who have kids, you know what I mean).
We fill our free days outside, summer it’s hiking and kayaking, the winter we enjoy downhill skiing and playing in the snow – we love the fresh air (except when it get’s too cold – then we hibernate for a while)
