Chamber Welcomes Whatnot Boutique to the Chamber and Community

Stillwater, MN. The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce welcomed local business, Whatnot Boutique, to the Chamber and the community with a ribbon cutting celebration on November 10th, 2022. The event took place at 223 Main Street South, Stillwater, MN.  Owner Christine John, along with family, friends, employees, Greater Stillwater Chamber ambassadors and staff were there to join in the celebration.

Chris John started doing home shows for groups of women, falling in love with the concept of going where the people were. She realized very quickly that women love to get together, they love to purchase together and most of all they love to walk away with the product then and there! Chris loved doing shows and events, and realized quickly that she had a knack for knowing what looked good on women.  “When  I purchase, I have 6 women in mind. I visualize how certain styles look on them. For the most part it works — real clothes for real women. That’s been my motto for many years now and I’m sticking to it!”

In 2019, Chris opened her first boutique in her home town of Stillwater, then another location in downtown White Bear Lake in Spring of 2022, and finally this third location in the heart of bustling downtown Stillwater on Main Street.  The space is beautiful, bright and welcoming, with women's and men's clothing,  shoes, accessories, and a selfie space for taking pictures!
