Chamber celebrates StyleXchange at Valley Outreach!

GREATER STILLWATER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE / PRESS RELEASE Chamber Welcomes StyleXchange at Valley Outreach to the Chamber and the Community!  Jessica Hauser and Hannah Sutcliffe cut the ribbon at the Chamber Celebration on June 14th, 2023.  

Stillwater, MN. The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce celebrated local business StyleXchange at Valley Outreach with a ribbon cutting celebration on June 14th 2023. Chief Executive Officer Tracy Maki along with staff, volunteers, guests, Greater Stillwater Chamber ambassadors and staff were gathered for the celebration.

“We are excited to welcome the public to shop at StyleXchange,” said Tracy Maki, CEO of Valley Outreach, “we offer high quality clothing for every member of the family - from brand names to basics.  Community members will find great deals and give pre-loved items new life.  Public sales will allow us to amplify the generosity of the financial and in-kind donations we receive and build a model that will help us find our continued growth.”

StyleXchange is a program within Valley Outreach that provides both basic and brand name clothes for the entire family.  Whether you are in need of work clothes, children's clothes or warm winter gear, StyleXchange has something for everyone in the family, and this service is available to those in need free of charge. 

Valley Outreach has seen about a 90% increase in the use of their programs and the number of people coming to the food shelf is at an all-time high.  The StyleXchange thrift store model enables them to serve more people.  Valley Outreach will continue to welcome donations of gently used, seasonal clean clothing.
