Stillwater, MN. The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce celebrated local business Locale Makers Market with a ribbon cutting celebration on June 1st 2023. Owner Tara Crotty, along with her family, vendors, friends, Greater Stillwater Chamber ambassadors and staff were gathered for the celebration.

Locale Makers Market is a woman-owned small business collaborative filled with vendors and makers offering everything from homemade caramels, candles, tumblers and jewelry to paintings, hats, clothing, hot packs, cards and alpaca mittens and so much more!  What an incredibly talented and creative group of artists and artisans coming together to present hand crafted and hand picked items, all in one place!  

Tara is an artist as well, starting her journey with hand stamping metals, which evolved into handmade sterling silver jewelry.  She also has a passion for crystals and gemstones, incorporating these into her pieces ignited her passion.  When an opportunity presented itself to start the shop, Crotty took a leap of faith and gave all of these wonderful creators a place to belong together, which gave the community a place to find the most creative, one-of-a-kind items!  Stillwater is fortunate to be their second location - an expansion that came in their first year of business!
