Fifth Annual Mardi Gras-themed Party to Benefit Area Youth

Celebrate Mardi Gras and raise funds to support local children from families in need in finding and pursuing their passions through their participation in artistic, athletic, and educational- enrichment extracurricular activities.
On Friday, March 1, Youth Advantage will host this special fifth annual Mardi Gras-themed event.  This year's event will be held at the beautiful 7 Vines Vineyard in Dellwood.

The event features silent and live auctions, prizes and surprises all in a New Orleans themed night of flare, food and fun! Guests will enjoy an abundance of appetizers throughout the evening and, new this year, interactive entertainment from The Fun Pianos Show. Back by popular demand are Stillwater native Lee Valsvik as emcee, and Stillwater Pony Head Football Coach Beau LaBore as auctioneer.  
Registered guests may purchase a Golden Ticket for $50.  The holder of the winning Golden Ticket receives half the proceeds of all Golden Tickets sold, up to $1,000!

All proceeds from the March 1 event will benefit Youth Advantage, a non-profit organization serving families in School District 834. “Money raised at the Mardi Gras event are a significant source of funds for Youth Advantage and allow us to help young people participate in athletics, pursue their passion in music, fine arts, theater and dance; join a science or computer club, go to camp and so much more,” says Executive Director Suzanne Block.

Live auction items include tickets to the sold out P!nk concert, original artwork from Nick Ardito, a Brewery Bus Bash, and a 3-hour St. Croix River yacht cruise. In addition, silent auction items await guests at the event including sporting and event tickets, restaurant packages, unique experiences and much more.

Tickets are $65 per person now through February 24 at www.youthadvantage.org/mardigras.  Prices are $75 beginning February 25 and for on-site registration, if available. This event is for individuals age 21 and older.
