Stillwater, MN. The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce celebrated with Chamber members, local business owners, nonprofits, school administrators, community leaders and elected officials. The event took place outside at 333 Main Street N., Stillwater, MN. in their new office in the Desch Building.

The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce is an inclusive organization that serves, advocates, and promotes the interest of business while enriching the life of the community. Members work together to improve business wealth, enrich our community, and enhance the quality of life for all residents. The Chamber serves the communities from Afton to Marine on St. Croix, Bayport, Lake Elmo, Oak Park Heights, and our historic town of Stillwater Minnesota.

What started in 1881 as a ‘call for action’ to save the Stillwater Manufacturing Company has grown to over 500 members strong. The collaboration that the Chamber provides amongst city planning, local government, business and nonprofit communities, and school assistance is invaluable! Most recently in 2019, the Chamber started Leadership in the Valley (LITV), a program that increases one’s knowledge about current issues, trends, and opportunities the Valley faces as well as paves the way for future leaders and increases exposure for current community leaders. It is a 9-month program for those that wish to expand their involvement in community affairs and explore new leadership opportunities.

The Chamber is one of the oldest Chambers in the State of Minnesota and is funded by business membership investment and community events. “Serving our business community is a privilege, not an obligation,” states Robin Anthony, the Executive Director. The Chamber is a 501c(6) non-profit organization recently filed for a 501c(3) to continue their community and educational work with an added Foundation.
