Chamber Welcomes Wild River Running to the Stillwater

Owner Kate Eggers Leaf cut the ribbon at the Chamber ribbon cutting celebration on October 17th, 2024.  

Stillwater, MN. The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce celebrated local business Wild River Running with a ribbon cutting celebration on October 17, 2024. The event took place at 224 Chestnut Street East in Stillwater, MN with Kate Eggers Leaf, and John Leaf owners, their family, friends, suppliers, customers, Greater Stillwater Chamber ambassadors and staff. 

At Wild River Running, they foster community through movement.  From fitting you with the perfect pair of shoes to offering a wide range of running apparel, fuel and accessories they cater to all types of runners and walkers in the St. Croix River Valley. Kate Eggers Leaf and John Leaf are former middle school teachers with a contagious love of running. Kate and John both began running in middle school, and continued into college at Gustavus, making it a lifestyle.  

After years of teaching, they were looking for a change of pace and a fresh start. Their backgrounds in teaching, and love of running became a clear path to chase this dream.
