Limitless Cycling to the Chamber and Community

Stillwater, MN. The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce welcomed local non-profit, Limitless Cycling, to the Chamber and the community with a ribbon cutting celebration on May 17th, 2022. The event took place at Lift Bridge Brewery in Stillwater, MN.  Co-founders Matthew Stepaniak and Darren Dobier, family, friends, Greater Stillwater Chamber ambassadors, members and staff were there to join in the celebration.

Co-founders Matthew Stepaniak and Darren Dobier were on a mission to acknowledge the diversity of the community in order to promote inclusion and create equity so that all may have the opportunity to bike in the St. Croix river valley. When Matthew’s mother became unable to ride a bicycle on her own, he became determined to help her “get outside and enjoy the benefits of biking again.” At the same time, Darren was looking for ways his company, DIRO Outdoors, could provide more experiences for the less abled. A partnership and the nonprofit Limitless Cycling was born.

With grant dollars from Stillwater Area Community Foundation (an affiliate of The St. Croix Valley Foundation), crowdsourcing, private donations, matching grants from local businesses, and their fiscal sponsor River Valley Trails Inc, the duo were able to get three Van Raam adaptive bicycles. Recently awarded as the recipient of the United Way of Washington County East’s Kay Clint Fund, they now have full funding to trailer and service the bicycles, pilots, and rider’s needs.
