At Better Place Forests, our mission is to inspire everyone to leave a meaningful legacy for the planet and the people they love. We are the end-of-life company that built America’s first conservation memorial forests –– beautiful, sustainable alternatives to cemeteries for people who choose cremation. Better Place Forests helps people write a better end to their story and establish a lasting legacy while conserving some of the most iconic natural land in North America.

Better Place Forests St. Croix Valley is situated alongside Fish Lake in Scandia, Mn.  This property features gently rolling hills and 2500 feet of tree-lined lakefront. This forest consists mostly of mature white and red oak trees, which turn to exuberant shades of red in the fall.  When you purchase a memorial tree you also contribute to the protection of forestland and wildlife habitat that your loved ones can enjoy now and for years to come!
