It is with a heavy heart that we announce the decision to postpone the Rivertown Fall Art Festival this year for the first time since the inception of the event. The Rivertown Fall Art Festival has been part of the beautiful and historic Stillwater riverfront for over 30 years. This event features high-end artwork, a variety of food vendors and local musicians. The festival has been a popular and well attended event attracting more than 10,000 people from across the Midwest. While a tough decision, it was an important one to make.
“The health and wellness of our community, vendors and visitors comes first,” stated Robin Anthony, Executive Director of the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce. “We look forward to our event being bigger and better in October, 2021, and continue to value our partnership with the City of Stillwater” she said. The City of Stillwater cancelled all large events in the city until November 1, 2020, at last night’s council meeting.
