A Peace of My Mind: An Interactive Art Exhibit

Explore the meaning of peace one story at a time through this interactive art exhibit displayed throughout the Stillwater Public Library on January 8 - February 6, 2018. 

A Peace of My Mind explores the simple (or not so simple) question -What does peace mean to you? This thought-provoking exhibit features a stunning collection of 52 portraits and personal stories of diverse Minnesotans. The exhibit is free and open to the public during library hours.

PEACE Party: Wednesdays, Jan 17 & 24, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.  The library will stay open late for a PEACE party on Wednesday evening, January 17 and 24. Book clubs, youth groups and community organizations are encouraged to interact with the exhibit from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. and meet with their group from 8:00 – 9:00 p.m. to discuss the impact and implications of the exhibit. A PEACE party exhibit guide book will be available to help facilitate tours and discussions. 

Multi-Media Lecture with Artist John Noltner, Tuesday, Feb 6, 6:30 p.m.  Join us as we conclude the exhibit with a special 40-minute multi-media presentation followed by Q&A with John Noltner.

The exhibit is free and open to the public during library hours (Monday – Thursday from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and Sunday from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. The library is closed on Monday, January 15 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
