Equity for All - Still Not There

Join the Stillwater Public Library and AAUW on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. for Equity for All - Still Not There.  Attorneys Sharon Van Dyck and Donald Chance Mark Jr., advocates for women's equity in Minnesota, will provide perspectives on discrimination against women and the legal remedies that they have pursued.  They will give updates on two controversial cases:  Portz v. St. Cloud State College on behalf of 10 female students whose teams were cut from the athletic program, and Univ. of Minnesota Duluth v. Shannon Miller alleging discrimination on the basis of age, sex, and sexual orientation.
