Making Maple Syrup

Come and join us on a field trip to River Falls, WI, to participate in a maple syrup making process at Rising Sun Farm. Roger Browne, the owner, is a long time supplier of most of our summer produce at River Market. He will show you the various stages of maple syrup processing, from tapping the maple trees to boiling the sap. You will be able to sample and purchase the maple syrup at the farm. Wear appropriate clothing and rubber boots. We will meet at River Market at 2:15 p.m. and carpool to the farm. Free!
