Rake a Difference Day 2007

Perform an act of goodwill! Volunteer to rake yards and bag leaves for those unable to do the job themselves. Rake a Difference Day (RADD) is a volunteer project benefiting seniors and persons with disabilities in the Afton/Lakeland area, Bayport, Lake Elmo, Mahtomedi, Oak Park Heights, Stillwater, and the St. Croix Valley area.

 

Volunteer groups register for Rake a Difference Day online by going to www.volunteercvs.org. Those who request raking, complete the form and mail it to Community Volunteer Service and Senior Centers. CVSSC then matches a volunteer group to your request based on the information you provide. The leader of the group contacts you to schedule a day and time to rake your yard between October 21 - 28 this year. As the homeowner, you provide the leaf bags as well as your preferences about the project to the group leader.
