Valley Vine & Harvest Throwdown

The scene: a chef competition and wine tasting unlike any other. The competitors: seven of the area?s best chefs. The goal: to earn guest votes and be crowned the Valley Vine & Harvest Throwdown Top Chef of the Valley. The cause: Canvas Health?s programs and services, which help area individuals struggling with mental health issues, homelessness, chemical health recovery, and more. The 6th annual Valley Vine & Harvest Throwdown will be held on Sunday, Oct. 12, at the Lake Elmo Inn Event Center in Lake Elmo, Minn. Participating restaurants include: Acqua Restaurant & Bar, Danny?s Bar & Grill, Domacin, The Green Room, Marx Fusion Bistro, Phil?s Tara Hideaway, and San Pedro Café. Prior to the Throwdown event, (3-3:45 p.m.), Chef John Schiltz from Lake Elmo Inn will host an intimate VIP Grand Cru Party, where he will prepare domestic and imported lamb served with red wine for guests.
